Azerbaijani mobile operator Azerfon has created all necessary conditions to transfer subscribers from Catel's CDMA network to its network, Azerfon CEO Jurgen Peetz said.

CATEL has recorded problems since April 1, leading to the shutdown of a network of subscribers operating in the CDMA standard (with index numbers 417, 418 and 415, as well as the number of mobile network Fonex, starting with the zoning code 040).

The total number of CATEL subscribers is about 70,000, of which about 60,000 are subscribers of wireless communication standard CDMA.
